Biggest Loser Challenge (ages 16+)
Fiddlesticks’ Biggest Loser Challenge is a fun way to get people together that all have the same goal – losing weight. You decide how you will exercise and eat right, then participate in a private weekly weigh-in. Following the weigh-in, our group will share recipes, share successes, learn about local exercise classes, hear from guest speakers and socialize.
Book Review Club (ages 16+)
A place to discuss what you’ve been reading. Share your opinions on chosen novels. Combine the fun of an evening out with friends and the quiet of curling up with a good book. Registration is required.
Cambridge Girls Choir (ages 8 -18)
Do you like to sing? The Cambridge Girls’ Choir is now a part of Fiddlesticks! Join choir conductor Peter West to learn all about music and singing as a group. Registration is required.

Drop-In Ball Hockey (grades 1-7)
Come out to play Ball Hockey and bring your friends! This program focuses on good sportsmanship. You don’t need to be a pro, you just need to have fun! Drop-In Power Pass is available.
Drop-In Dodge Ball (grades 5-7)
Love to play dodge ball? Here’s your chance! We play five different types of dodge ball including elimination, official, scatter ball, terminator and king’s court. Come out to duck, dive and dodge! Drop-In Power Pass is available.
Drop-In Soccer (ages 15+)
Come out to Clemen’s Mill P.S. to develop skills through training exercises and participate in recreational soccer games. Recommended: Indoor soccer shoes and shin guards. Mondays 7:30-10pm
FYRE Committee (grades 7-12)
Are you interested in having your say? Planning events for you and your friends….like dances, coffee houses and jam sessions? Come out and join the FYRE (Fiddlesticks Youth Recreation Enthusiasts) Committee. It’s a great way to get involved in your neighbourhood and to complete your community service hours for school.
Hip Hop Dance (grades 2 – 6)
Do you like to dance? This is a great way to get some exercise and have fun at the same time. Registration is required.
Karate Kidz (ages 6 -8)
This program is a great introduction to karate.
Karate Kata
This class is recommended for students that already are a Kyu grade. The emphasis is on Kata and the applications of techniques found in the Kata. Also covered will be several traditional weapons forms and techniques using weapons. Please phone the office for further details.
Kindergarten Ready (ages 3 – 5)
This program is run by trained staff. Kindergarten Ready allows children the opportunity to develop skills to help them get ready for kindergarten. It offers small group learning that focuses on letter recognition, printing, colours, shapes and numbers.
LEAD (ages 12 – 16)
Develop your leadership skills during this 12 module certification program! LEAD (Leadership Excellence Asset Development) training is a great to have if you’re looking to land that perfect part-time job or a spot on student council! LEAD is a requirement for Fiddlesticks Summer Camp Volunteers. This program is run by Fiddlesticks staff.

Parents and Tots (newborn – 5 years)
Looking for a way to get out of the house with your kids? Why not try this program run by the registered moms and dads? Songs, crafts, games, snacks, coffee and fun for both kids and parents. Parents and Tots offers:
- An opportunity for networking, reducing isolation among parents.
- A venue for the viewing and sharing of parenting styles as well as the sharing of ideas, resources and techniques.
- An opportunity for children to interact socially with their peers.
- Stimulating toys, crafts and songs for children to gain new skills and practice learned skills.

Shorinji Ryu Karate (ages 9+)*
Shorinji Ryu Karate is a traditional martial art. It improves flexibility, fitness, core strength, and confidence with an emphasis on self defense. *Children ages 6-8 years are welcome to train with a participating adult.
Snack, Wrap and Roll (ages 9 – 14)
Do you enjoy cooking? Would you like to learn to cook and make yummy snacks and easy meals you can make at home? Then come out to Fiddlesticks and “get your cook on“.
Total Body Resistance (ages 16+)
This 60 minute workout will target your major muscle groups. Using the resistance bands will give you the ability to adjust the difficulty to you own preference while toning and strengthening your muscles. Squats, presses, lifts and curls will give you the results you want; all you have to do is come into the office and register today or drop in to the class. Fitness pass is available.
Tumbling Parents and Tots (newborn – 5 years)
Gross motor and social skills are developed through active gym play, meeting new friends, and games. Registration is required.
Wee Little Learners (ages 2 -5)
The first step to the Kindergarten Ready program. This young children’s program is run by trained staff. Playing, singing, arts and crafts, story, snack, and circle time during the 2 hour program. Registration is required.
Youth Dances (grades 6 – ![]()
Dance tickets are $5 ($4 if you bring a non-perishable food item at the time of purchase).
Yoga -Hatha Style (Ages 18+)
Another opportunity for rest, relaxation and gentle exercise. This morning class welcomes both beginners and the more experienced participants. Registration is required.
ZUMBA (ages 16+)
Zumba fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program. This program is so much fun and you will forget you are working out! Fitness pass is available.
